Paleo Check-In, Day 7

  • Breakfast: 2 eggs cooked in coconut oil, 2 sausages, 1/2 avocado
  • Lunch: Beef & broccoli, some cashews
  • Snack: Larabar
  • Snack II: Apple w/almond butter, smoothie (banana, coconut water, frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple)
  • Dinner: Korean BBQ meats, noodles and rice successfully avoided, though I did have a beef dumpling (gasp)
  • Late night snack: Handful of cashews

The breakfast sausages I got may not be 100% paleo, but they’re gluten free, MSG free, nitrate free and ok by me. Almond butter pales in comparison to the honey roasted peanut butter from Whole Foods, I’ll tell you what. Went out for drinks again tonight and just sipped on water. Also sipped on water when everyone went out for dessert afterwards. I must say, I have been feeling hungry more often than I expected. I’m going to try to up my fat intake and see if that helps.
