CFSB Day 5
We started with a nice, easy mobility-based circuit to get my old bones moving this morning. Then since a 20 rep squat was on the menu, did some light squatting to get ready.
Squats
- 20 x 205lb
This was a much smarter weight than last time, but it might have been a bit too light. I wasn’t retching blood like my man Brooks Kubrik would want, but it was tough. The hardest part was keeping the bar from rolling down my back. I’ll shoot for 215 next time.
Then the short met-con:
- 25 Double unders
- 10 Knees-to-elbows
Repeat 5x
Time: 5:14. David showed me how to kip the KTEs beforehand, which was a big help. I still suck at them though. Only tripped up on the rope on set 3, the rest of the DUs were butter.
