Ute Crossfit Drop-In Day 2
Back at Crossfit Ute again today for another workout, this time with the second fittest man on the planet, Tommy Hackenbruck. We did a nice little warmup with leg swings, inchworms, wall squats, windmills, and front-leaning-rest on the rings, then into a plank-walk game of tag and a crab-walk game of tag. Good thing I’m half crab! Today’s WOD was a “Tuesday triple down:”
- Station 1, 6 min total
- Burpees x 30 sec x 3 (rest 30 sec) - 15, 13, 12
- Split Jumps x 30 sec x 3 (rest 30 sec)
- Station 2, 6 min total
- Max wall balls (20lb) - 100
- Station 3, 6 min total for distance
- Row x 30 sec x 6 (rest 30 sec) - 933m
We rested 2 minutes between 6 min intervals. Pleased with my burpee score, not too pleased with anything else. Too much rest on the wall balls, not enough distance covered on the rower. I was glad to be able to workout without any lower back pain today. Heading back home this afternoon, but I’m really impressed with Ute Crossfit - good people and a good place to sweat!
