CFSB Day 17

Warmed up with 4 min on the rower, sticking to a 2:05/500m pace and ~20 s/m. I was focusing on long, slow, efficient strokes but I still have a long way to go there. Next warmed up with some front lever practice (knees tucked) and a few light cleans and stuff to prepare for today’s WOD.

(Power) Elizabeth:

  • 21, 15, 9 Power cleans (135lb)
  • 15, 9, 6 Ring dips

Time: 6:59. I scaled down the ring dips as Dave suggested since they’re new for me and I wanted to keep moving. Cleans felt really good - first set was unbroken, second was 8/7, and the third was unbroken but I dropped the bar after every rep. Dropping the bar seems slower but certainly easier once you’re fatigued. Next time I’ll try it without dropping and try to keep all sets unbroken. I’ll also work on my ring dips so I don’t have to scale. I was planning on doing Fran again to redeem yesterday’s performance but I sure as hell didn’t have it in me after this.
