CFSB Day 22
Today’s warmup really helped get the old bones moving after yesterday’s pullup, pushup, and squat overload. 10 KB swings (28kg), 10 OHS (45lb), 15 sec Samson stretch x 3. Then we did a little prep work for the barbell snatch and set up today’s WOD:
- 90 sec x KB Swings (24kg) (40, 40, 35, 30, 33)
- 30 sec to get a barbell snatch double (105lb, 125, 125, 125, 125)
Repeat 5x, resting 2 min between rounds.
So the goal for the swings was continuous work and then the goal for the snatches was to hit two clean reps in the 30 seconds allotted. I need a lot of work on the snatch so I didn’t try to go too heavy today. It’s ridiculous how difficult this was considering I can DB snatch 100lb with each hand. The barbell snatch is much more skill based and it’s just a skill that I don’t have yet!
