Tag Team: Deevolution (explosive)
Did a fun, tag-team workout with Frank tonight after class. The idea was that one guy does a crawl across the length (there and back) of the school while the other performs the stationary explosive exercise as fast as possible. The round lasts as long as it takes for the crawler to finish. Once he’s done, you switch and then move on.
- 10 Burpees
- Bear Crawl x 2 / Knee Tucks
- 10 Burpees
- Crab Walk x 2 / Power Overs
- 10 Burpees
- Slug Crawl* / Med Ball Slams
Repeat 3x, then finish with 10 Burpees (so we get a nice even 100 Burpees total).
Total time: 33:14. Wow, this was rough. Way rougher than I expected. It was nice because the guy who was doing the stationary exercise got to yell at the guy who was crawling to go faster.
* I named this the slug crawl tonight because of the trail of sweat I left on the floor. This is the variation where you pull yourself forward with your arms while dragging the legs, sometimes known as the Paul Sheldon Crawl.
