Day 3, Texas Method Intermediate Strength Program
Intensity day today:
- Squat
- 1 x 5 x 290lb
- Push Press
- 1 x 1 x 150lb
- Deadlift
- 1 x 1 x 345lb
- Turkish Get Ups
- 1 x 1 x 80lb
No problems today - everything felt solid and maybe a little too easy. Of course I didn’t just do one set of every exercise, as with the stronglifts 5x5 program, there are several warmup sets for each exercise. I’m loving the variety of this program and the fact that I don’t have to be at the gym for an hour every day. I was getting pretty bored on the stronglifts two-day split. Total gym time: 40 mins.
Weighed in at 188lb today.
