Using my gorgeous, new, nurse-constructed parallettes (thank god Zach’s dyad has a hacksaw), I worked on my L-sits after my GPP session.
Kept it pretty light today…can’t be too sore for my strength session tomorrow don’t ya know.
Quick home core workout:
Repeat 4x
Waiting for the phone guy to come today, unpacked a box with the old ab wheel, so:
Total time: 6:08. Broke it down into 6 sets of 5. Collapsed at full extension on the last few.
Started with L-sit work on the chair. 4 sets of 30 sec. Then the main circuit:
Repeat 4x
Finisher: 2 min plank.
Started with 4 sets of 5 Standing Wheel Rollouts, then onto the main circuit:
Repeat 3x
I included the set of 50 situps because it’s been a while since I’ve done high volume core work (and it showed).
Started with L-sit work. Used the arms of our big old chair for a change. 4 sets of 30 sec. Then the main circuit:
Repeat 4x
Repeat 5x
This was really tough. Pineapple is a great motivator though.
Repeat circuit 2x
Finisher: L Pullups x 20
OK, I lied. Today’s Crossfit WOD inspire me to work on my L pullups, which made me want to do some pushing, and then made me want to do some situps.
A nice, neat total of 100 of each exercise. Symmetry. Science.
Repeat 5x, resting 3 min between rounds.
Total time: 22:23 (3:56, 3:50, 4:54, 4:46, 4:57). Did this one at home using my Everlast door pullup bar.
