CFSB Day 52
Started with the awful knee-on-the-abmat/foot-against-the-wall version of the samson stretch, some fire hydrants, some third world squat, and some shoulder rolling to prep for today’s front squats.
Front Squat:
- 2 x 225lb
- 2 x 245lb
- 2 x 250lb
Totally forgot to use the very helpful cue of externally rotating my femurs until that last set. I was planning on pushing it to 265 for the last set, but Nick talked me down to 250. I think I should have gone at least 255.
21, 15, 9:
- Burpees
- Pullups
Time: 4:48. Went very slow on the pullups and used the little grippy pads to keep my hands from ripping. First set was unbroken, second was 8/7, third was 5/4. Burpees were also too slow. It was cold as crap in the gym and I never really got warm for this.
